Gender Equality Training in Industry: second session of the bi-national webinar
The PEI Colombia Programme, in coordination with PEI Peru, held the second session of the bi-national webinar “Gender Equality Training in Industry”, a space designed to strengthen inclusion and sustainability in industrial parks and companies.
This Session 2 of 2 focused on the assessment of gender equality in industry, addressing practical tools to analyze the management of industrial organizations from an inclusive perspective.
Gender analysis tools for industry
During the session, participants worked on the application of gender analysis tools from the GEIPP programme. These tools support specialized assessments in industrial parks and companies.
They help identify opportunities for improvement in organizational management, promote more equitable practices, and strengthen capacities to move toward more inclusive industrial environments.
Diagnosis, inclusion and skills development
One of the main objectives of the webinar was to assess the management of industrial parks and companies through specialized diagnostics. Based on these results, the session aimed to support the design of strategies focused on skills development with an inclusion-based approach.
This training reinforces the commitment of PEI Colombia and PEI Peru to the transition toward Eco-Industrial Parks, integrating sustainability, equity and innovation criteria into industrial processes.
